We look up to celebrities in many ways and dressing up is one of them. Nobody gives us more fashion inspiration than our Bollywood peeps. On a special occasion like Diwali, are you confused about what to wear? Don’t worry, Bollywood Moms are giving us some major tips on how to dress to impress this Diwali.

  • Kareena Kapoor Khan
Dressing-up-like-Celeb-Moms-this-DiwaliKareena Kapoor is always giving us fashion goals, but after her pregnancy, she has been giving us major maternity fashion inspiration. As a new mom, she's again flattered everyone. From anarkalis to Long Kurta with draped pants to capes, Kareena knows how to carry anything and everything. Also, Capes are really in this season, so with this style, you are sure to turn a few heads.
  •  Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Dressing-up-like-Celeb-Moms-this-DiwaliWho better to give us style tips than Miss World herself? Always impeccably dressed, Aishwarya Rai’s style mantra is very simple, keep it ethnic. From this white anarkali to a simple suit with an ornate dupatta, you can recreate Aishwarya’s looks with what’s already available in your wardrobe. If you are pregnant, take a cue from Aishwarya, wear a long blouse and drape the saree in a way that the palla comes forward, it looks extremely stylish.
  • Karisma Kapoor
Dressing-up-like-Celeb-Moms-this-DiwaliKarisma Kapoor is my personal favorite. Mother of two, this Celeb Mom is always elegantly dressed. She prefers easy and simple silhouette which is good if you are pregnant, as they are extremely comfortable to wear. You can easily pull off her style by teaming your long kurta with a pair of palazzo and keeping it minimal when it comes to accessories, just go for one statement piece, which can either be a necklace or a pair of earrings.
  • Shilpa Shetty Kundra

If you are pregnant, consider going for an anarkali with an uneven hem, like hers, it is very flattering. You can also wear a short kurta with draped pants and get your dupatta attached to the kurta, it makes managing dupatta so much easier.
  •  Mira Kapoor
Dressing-up-like-Celeb-Moms-this-DiwaliThis new mom likes to keep it simple, easy and hassle-free. Sophisticated and minimal is the way you can describe Mira’s style. You can easily dress up like Mira, go for an A-line kurta with straight pants, it is comfortable and stylish at the same time. Or you can wear a straight floor-length kurta, a simple skirt or churidar, and a printed dupatta. This look is sure to get you a thumbs-up from your friends and family.
  • Genelia D’Souza Deshmukh
Dressing-up-like-Celeb-Moms-this-DiwaliGenelia D’souza recently gave birth to her second baby and gave us a lot of style inspiration throughout her two pregnancies. Anarkali seems to be this mom’s favorite as they are comfortable and easy to wear. Pair your anarkali with a straight jacket like Genelia or you can even carry a lace dupatta. Both of them look ultra-stylish. But my personal favorite is the straight kurta paired with a statement necklace, it looks so pretty! Dressing up like a celebrity is not as difficult as it seems. You can easily re-create any of these outfits with what you already have in your wardrobe. Just remember to keep it simple, comfortable and easy, and enjoy the festivities. Have a happy and fashionable Diwali! Want to share your mommy experience with other moms through words or images? Become a part of the Moms United community.
